Quaint and clever vintage charm fashioned as a musical stave, with treble clef, three crotchets, and a rest. Taking the letters that the notes represent, and then adding the rest to the end, we can spell out a word: D-E-A-REST. A sort of hybrid rebus/acrostic, it's charming and utterly romantic. Crafted in 9 karat gold with English hallmarks from the year 1951.
