Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 266 movement. It is in the famous 30T2 family whose reputation for reliability and accurate timekeeping landed it a role serving the critical timing needs of the world's Armed Forces during World War II. As time progressed Omega upgraded the original 30T2s with additions like a shock protection system, more jewels, and other modifications - as is the case with this watch.
It is in very pleasing condition. The elegant case is just short of mint. The striking textured dial (face) is a well done restoration, and the Omega caliber 266 movement presents very nicely and is clean and running true.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
