This is a fully three dimensional 14kt. Gold Overlay Vermeil Dangle Earrings representing the Huacaya Alpaca. I hand carved all the tiny intricate detail of the original model in wax. I was able to capture its fleece coat in the tiny detail and finish. This design shows the detail of the animal on both sides.They dangle on secure and comfortable lever backs.
The size of each Alpaca is 5/8" tall by 1/2" wide.

Vermeil is a heavy 14kt gold overlay onto a base of 925 sterling silver.
This is considered a luxury product using all precious metals. The gold overlay
should last for many years without showing wear and it will not tarnish.
