Intro & New Features
Unleash your potential! The CODE Encrypt 1 stick is designed specifically for elite players. The lightest CODE model yet built with a perfectly balanced hybrid kickpoint. A new sophisticated composite layup enables superior puck control and shooting. It has a cutting-edge ergonomic EVT shaft form that promotes energetic power transfer for precise puck distribution and ultimate confidence on the ice.
Stick Profile
The Code Encrypt 1 employs a hybrid kickpoint, which offers the advantages of both a low and high kick point. It is intended to give a quick release for wrist and snap shots while also increasing power for slap shots. The hybrid kick point is achieved by combining carbon fibres with varying flex qualities in the shaft's lower and upper sections. The lower half of the shaft is made of stiffer carbon fibers, resulting in a low kick point for rapid releases. The upper half of the shaft is made of more flexible carbon fibres, resulting in a higher kick point for more power and accuracy on slap shots.
Shaft Construction
To give exceptional performance, the shaft employs a range of one-of-a-kind designs and advanced materials. The shaft's BlackLine XXV carbon fiber has a 25K weave, ensuring strong consistency and weight reduction. The FeatherLite XT layup further decreases the stick's weight by removing extraneous materials from the blade and shaft.
This stick also makes use of Pyrofil carbon fiber, which was created by Mitsubishi and is part of the Sherwood Code line. This ultra-lightweight material increases the stick's overall feel and performance while also providing exceptional durability when pushed to the rigors of severe games.
Lastly, redesigned from the ground up, this ergonomic shaft combined with new EVT gives players a pro shaft taper which allows for greater power transfer in both shooting and passing.
Blade Construction
This stick features Sherwood's VR92 blade, which includes an I-92 dampening inlay to improve blade durability and responsiveness. This unique technology not only reinforces the blade to boost longevity, but it also greatly increases feel during passes and shots, giving players more control and precision in every play.
Grip
The Encrypt Pro's grip is the tactile grip, which is designed to provide players with a strong and reliable grip, allowing them to grasp onto their sticks better. This stick also boasts concave sidewalls and grip friendly corners for a more natural feel in a player's hand.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Sherwood Code Encrypt 1 Senior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: PP28, PP90MX, PP92, PP88.
PP88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
PP92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
PP28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
The PP90MX offers the benefits of a toe curve with just a bit more stability. The result is a taller, slightly more square toe for stronger board presence, more power, and more reliable accuracy.
