Due to the anatomically correct shape of the extremely soft mouthpiece, the pressure is evenly distributed on the tongue and bars. The integrated oval bit guards with their carefully shaped transitions to the middle part prevent lip pinching and also provide particularly good lateral support. The Pelham- a classic bit, now in our more elegant and enhanced design. When the reins are applied, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and poll. Depending on lever length of the shanks (5 cm or 7.5 cm), a different strength and direct bit angulation in the mouth is achievable. Used on horses that have difficulties coming through at the poll, "hot" horses, or on horses that need significant input in critical situations (such as jump offs or similar). The Pelham is supplied with curb hooks.

The protection of the horse"s sensitive mouth is most important to beris. From bit ring to the complicated cheekpieces: ever piece of metal parts is shaped formed by hand, welded and polished to perfection.
The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures a better acceptance of the bit and facilitates communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of a food safe plastic compound, processed and with a surface finish unequalled so far in the field of plastic bits. Their surface is very smooth and they slide easily in the mouth, even if the horse doesn´t produce much saliva. Practically all horses like our mouthpieces.
