Overview:

Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era intaglio ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.

Centrally mounted smoky quartz measures 15mm x 12mm. The quartz is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips.

The smoky quartz intaglio is carved in the form of a male bust (side profile). Set into a lacy scrolled mount with foliate detail, a hallmark of the Art Deco era. The mount has a slightly curved saddle for a comfortable fit on the finger. The ring has a low profile, rising 5.5mm from the finger (0.21 inches).

The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned the ring in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
