A vintage Cartier Tank Louis with a desirable 'Paris' dial. This example was originally produced in Switzerland and retailed in France in the 1970s. It is being offered with it's original 18kt yellow gold deployment buckle with matching hallmarks. It's case measures 23x30mm and was considered the men's size at the time. In my humble opinion it can easily be worn by either gender and looks fantastic no matter the occasion. It's one thing for a design to remain relatively unchanged for over 100 years. To stay relevant that entire time? That says something.

DIAL: The original, lacquered, white enamel dial is in good shape. The lacquer appears to be have two, very faint cracking or "spidering" in between the 4 and 5 o'clock hour markers. That imperfection in my opinion is the only one noticeable from normal from normal wearing distances under the most extreme viewing angles and lighting situations. It is very difficult to photograph.
CASE: 23mm width x 30mm height solid 18kt yellow gold. The case has been previously polished in the past. These case dimensions is the vintage "mens" size however could easily be worn by woman as well. It presents with wear commensurate for its age. It is completed by its original blue sapphire cabochon crown.
MOVEMENT: Cartier caliber 78-1. The service history is unknown. The watch is currently gaining 24 seconds per day and has a healthy amplitude of 309. The movement can be serviced for approximately $325 parts (if needed.) If the watch is serviced it will come with a 1 year warranty.
BRACELET/STRAP: The strap will depend on if the buyer elects to also purchase the deployment clasp. With a deployment clasp a strap needs to be custom made to fit the buyers wrist specifically as there is no micro adjustment. This can be discussed further.
